Now What?

Ok, we moved into this new house, Silas and I both are working for local businesses, yet...I still feel like my life has no purpose...it seems empty. I've heard that families often go on SUN Exchanges or move to other hoods and they feel revived...I wonder if that will help? I guess we'd have to find a hood to move to...maybe one of the new smaller hoods, that would be nice...I suppose we'll start putting in applications now.

Talked to Sazo, the new owner of CupaJava. He says thathe has some plans and they might include some downsizing of the staff. I can read the writing on the wall, I might be let go-especially since all I do is serve espresso and that's not a big draw for customers. Where would I work? Maybe I could get a job at the bank-I don't know much about simoleans but I can smile real good.

Such a long time

Wow-it's been a while since I've written. We have moved into a new home, one of the so called affordable houses on Fuji. Ha! The mortgage is not very affordable. Perhaps if interest rates were lower or the term longer the mortgage would be more affordable. What else, Viranza is sad-her girlfriend moved to another hood. She starts school soon, Seron is still a child, Silas is well. Nothing much to say.

Rachel called me, she's leaving to go move in with relatives in Roswell. Her mum has a bad disease...she's dying...quickly. I'm sad, I thought Rachel and I were forever. I asked her to go steady-she said no way! We had a big fight, but I didn't think that...wow, she's leaving...now what? What do I do now?

Played catch with Seron...he's a good player, maybe he will be a baseball player one day. Viranza has a girlfriend...I am not prepared for that. I was prepared to scare guys away...but girls? Her mother says it's alright...I don't know

Happens so Fast

Rachel and I kissed, we're bffs and now lovers! well, not quite. We are not going steady...yet. Maybe soon, but we do love each other...I think. I don't know! One minute we're kids playing tag outside, the next minute we're teens kissing in the living room.
O! We're moving to one of the new homes on Fuji. I can't wait. I have to share a room with my brother, but daddy said that they will add a room to the house for Seron, especially since I'm a teen and I need my space. Maybe Rachel can spend the nite!

Viranza a teen

We celebrated by having a bbq with the family. We also visited the Food Expo and Celebration Park so the kids could participate in the fishing contest and in the muffin-bakeoff. Viranza was a bit sad that she lost the baking contest, her muffin burned while she was talking to other children at the Food Expo.
Now that Viranza is a teen, she is eligible to enter the Apple Valley Academy that the hood council has proposed to build. She's excited about it, though I must learn more about. Will there be uniforms? What's the cost?

Bad Kitty

Kitty (Cymmi) has been attacking the furniture. We brought her a scratching post, hopefully she will stop.

Speaking of kitty, there are strays in the hood, they are annoying creatures, digging holes everywhere-destroying funiture at the community lots. Something must be done!

We went to the children's sculptural park. A bit crowded and poorly planned if you ask me. There was hardly room for the children to play and the huge bonfire-very tacky. I need to inform the hood council of this. I've been considering running for the hood council especially since a new term is coming up soon. Perhaps try to get something a bit child-friendly. Also, we need a nicer library, one with a children's reading section. I would love to take Viranza and Seron there. Viranza will be a teen soon, she and Rachel play a lot together...they're best friends. How sweet.

To See Him Again

I want to see him again. I want to see father again. His grave is complete at the Memorial Parque. I think I will take the family to see him, maybe water the plant on his grave. Make sure that he is being well treated. I miss him.

Viranza talks about ghosts haunting her dreams, perhaps father is trying to talk to her again.

Father is Dead

Father died. He left a little money for the family, but not much. It rained after he died. A fitting tribute. We are moving his grave to the community memorial gardens. Maybe white daisies on his grave. Father wasn't much for flowers. Maybe a empty jar, perhaps even have his urn displayed on a pedestal.

First Day in the Hood

First things first, Elaine Dawson and her daughter are the tenants below-the other tenant found a better deal I suppose.

Weather was really tricky here-it rained and the tree caught on fire twice-we might need to look into installing a lightening rod. Then it started snowing, it was still snowing when I decided to go to bed.

Shawn doesn't have much longer, we're trying to make his last days peaceful and restful. Silas is upset, I hope that he doesn't do anything stupid. *sigh* I miss our old home and the way things were. I miss the exposed brick of the apartment, maybe we can petition to have the brick restored, especially since we're in the back of the ho0d-no one notices us much anyway :)

I wonder when my father wants me to start working again. I miss adult interactions.

New Renter

We have finally found a renter. Jadhira Shazad, the woman from Simborough, will be moving into the flat on the bottom level of the building, while we will reside in the upper two levels. She will pay us a flat fee to buy the flat from us, but she will only own the space bewteen the walls, not the land the building is on or anything like that.

Poor Silas is beside himself with grief, his father is nearing his last days. He was laid off from the Pahala Shore set because he kept forgetting his duties and at times couldn't remember his own name. He doesn't have much longer, I doubt he will make it beyond the repairs.
